following in the very ridiculous steps of virginia, florida adopts a plan that dictates academic achievement standards based on race and ethnicity. check it out..  ”The mandate stipulates that by 2018, 90 percent of asian students, 88 percent of white students, 81 percent of hispanic students and 74 percent of black students are to be reading at or above grade level. the state also wants 86 percent of white students, 92 percent of asians, 80 percent of hispanics and 74 percent of blacks to be at or above their math grade level.” that means that before our babies even leave elementary school, the system expects that a fourth of them will be behind. and that’s okay because, you know, black people are inferior and this is totally doing them a favor.. ha. if these achievement goals reflect the current trends, shouldn’t you be figuring out the problem(s) with the school system and not lowering the standards? what message does this send? how does a school system, government, country treat a group of people when they are expected to fail? how does that group treat themselves? you already know.. click the pic for the full story. #bethechange. #keepitQUEEN.
